About the tournament

VALORANT Champions 2026 is the VCT’s global season finale: the biggest and most prestigious event of the year, where the world champion is crowned. Sixteen teams qualify from the top Stage 2 finishers and Championship Point leaders across the four international territories. The event opens with a group stage in four GSL groups, then moves into a double-elimination playoff bracket; matches are BO3 until the lower final and grand final, which are BO5. It runs in Shanghai from September 24 to October 18, 2026.
