About the tournament

CCT South America 2026 Series 5 is a Counter-Strike 2 event in the South American CCT circuit, an online minor-level tournament built around the VRS ecosystem. It brings together 24 teams, with a Swiss group stage played in BO3 and then single-elimination playoffs, also in BO3, with eight teams seeded directly into the Round of 16. It runs from 25 August to 7 September 2026. Beyond the title, the event offers $15,000 in prize money and valuable VRS weight for South American teams looking to improve their standing.
